Located on Fountain Avenue near the iconic 101 Freeway, Fountain Community Gardens (FCG) was founded June 6, 2009 by the City of Los Angeles to create a beautiful and peaceful oasis in East Hollywood for organic community gardening. FCG provides a diverse, inclusive space for anyone interested in growing their own fruits and vegetables. When you become a member of FCG, you will be able to rent one of over fifty raised bed plots, as well as have use of the garden's community areas. Our mission is to produce a flourishing, well-managed garden where members can be themselves and feel a sense of community. Non-members are welcome to volunteer with us once a month on a Garden Saturday, which is the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 10am to 12pm. Please consult the Calendar for a list of upcoming Garden Saturdays.
So do you want to get outside and get your hands dirty? At FCG, you can make a difference for yourself and your community. Get involved!

Fountain Community Gardens is supported by the Los Angeles Community Garden Council, a nonprofit that helps over 40 gardens thrive. Their support lets us offer gardening plots, workshops, and events like our Earth Day celebration, creating a welcoming space for the community to grow produce and connect with nature.
